Deputy Production Manager

We are looking for a driven Deputy Production Manager to join us in our mission to contribute to a greener future. The role is a part of our passionate team based in Skellefteå. By joining us, you will be a key player in ramping up production and contribute to building one of the first large scale European battery factories.

You will work side by side with our Production Managers, playing a key role in supporting and building a world class battery production. Northvolt is growing with over 100 people per month and we are just getting started. Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Assist Production Manager in planning, managing, and executing production operations.
Develop or update standard operating procedures and best practices for production operations.
Ensure that all equipment, materials, and supplies are readily and continuously available to carry out production processes.
Address employee concerns and complaints in professional manner as well as interviewing, hiring and training new employees.
Optimize production operations to meet quality and performance standards.
Analyze overall budget and implement cost-optimization initiatives, as well as determine resource requirements and work allocation for production operation.

Bachelor of science in mechanical/industrial engineering or similar.
Proven Leadership in manufacturing Organizations
Experience in the modern Operations Management principles: Lean, Kaizen, Six Sigma,
