Job Description
The Deputy Sales Manager position is a business and leadership focused role in the centre of IKEAs product development focusing on connect the product development and the retail channels and are part of create a good meeting with our customers in all channels.
This role reports to MD of IKEA of Sweden .
Your responsibilities will include:
• To lead, coach and develop the Sales Team in Range.
• To contribute as member of the Range Management team to the success and development of the total business
• To secure that the relevant Sales processes & year cycles are executed and deliver to the planned results and KPIs.
• To collaborate across the IKEA network to maximize growth and profitability of the business.
• To assure recruitment and succession planning within the Sales function and matrix for specific roles.
• To secure relevant capacity and competence in the development projects.
Qualifications
We believe that you as a person will bring a solid retail experiences. You are an experienced and value driven leader who is known to motivate, engage and grow people and business hand in hand. You have excellent capabilities to define business focus and future business needs and opportunities. You are used to inspire, build networks and trustful relations across organisation. Working in the IKEA network inspires you. You bring an excellent understanding and practical use of strategic and tactical thinking, and the holistic ability to turn strategies into actions. You manage and achieve results in a position with high level of complexity with an ability to set prioritization for self and others. You lead by example and you are true ambassador of IKEA culture and values.
What knowledge do you need to bring to be successful in the role?
• High knowledge in the market and competitor landscape of the Home Furnishing Businesses
• High knowledge in the retail environment and how the offer meets the customer
• Knowledge in how attract the consumer through marketing and communication efforts
