Deputy Unit Manager, Support Improvement Unit

In your position as Deputy Unit Manager within Support Improvement you will take an active part in leading the organization and reports to the Unit Manager for Support Improvement. We want YOU who want to take responsibility and grow with the task to support & develop IKEA. We focus on our users and business and view technology as a mean.

You will lead the organization by being a good example and execute and deliver results through our values. You will attract, develop, and inspire team members by realizing the IKEA Human Resource Idea. You will work closely together with the Unit Manger and in co-operation steer, lead and develop the unit and contribute to the success of the new IT Service Desk by having various assignments on a global level. In this role you will lead a number of team members by challenging and supporting them .You will also develop the way we work with activities, follow up on activities, work with our vendors, take part in steering groups for projects and sometimes lead improvement activities yourself.

To be successful in this role you have a good and wide knowledge about IT organization, strategies, processes and working methods. You have good knowledge and experience of working with change and communication. You understand implement strategies, the effects of change and the different needs people have in a change process .

It is crucial that you are good in creating and keeping good relations and that you are goal and result oriented. You have the ability to express opinions, information and key points of an argument clearly. You enjoy improving our ways of working, implement global methods and routines and seek new opportunities to give even more efficient support to our users. It is a benefit if you have experience from steering a global Helpdesk organization before.
