Design and Development Manager Head Rest

The design and development activities are central to the Seat Comfort customer projects and production operations. The D&D Manager Head Rest acts as the daily manager of an group 10 designers and construction engineers responsible for our head rest products. Location of the position is Kongsberg Automotive in Mullsjö Sweden. The D&D Manager Head Rest reports to the European SC D&D manager. TASKS The main tasks of the position are to: - Support, develop and guide the SC D&D staff in Sweden. Jointly with co-workers participate in presentations, technical discussions and customer negotiations. - Develop design guidelines for Seat Comfort products based on available technology, current production and process methods. To support the patent portfolio for Seat Comfort products. - Identify and follow up departmental and individual objectives. Initiate developmental activities to increase the competence and competitiveness of the department and its products. - Take budget and operational responsibility for the Swedish SC D&D. - To have the SC R&D team adhering to KA work methods making sure that work is ISO/TS 16949 compliant. - Allocate resources to customer projects from the D&D organization. To participate in the design management group of SC Europe. PROFILE We see you as an experienced leader acting as a team motivator with a high level of integrity. You are proficient in English and hopefully skilled also in German or French. Your background can department management with in the automotive industry, or related technology or industrial domain. You have an university level degree in mechanical engineering, industrial design, or related areas. KA is active globally and has an ambition to care for ethnical and cultural variety.
