Department
The design team for ePower in Mullsjö is responsible for the mechanical part of the power electronics system. Main focus is on DCDC converters and OBC (On Board Charger). Kongsberg Automotive is determined to grow and take market share in this product segment. This part of the design center is located in Mullsjö, but there is also deep share of work in the Joint venture with QRTECH in Göteborg.

Job profile
As Design Engineer, you will convert customer requirements into a competitive design.
The work usually starts with a customer request to quote a design. If the business is won, the design engineer lead the design work from concept until the component / system is in production. To be more competitive, work is ongoing to modulate the design.
You will be part of a dynamic team that is committed to develop the future power electronics systems into the market. The team strives to push the limit of what is feasible today. Our work on innovations is crucial for our success.
Design is performed in Catia V5.

Candidate profile
. B.Sc. or M.Sc. degree in mechanics or similar
. Experienced in working in projects.
. Knowledge of and experience in Catia V5 or similar
. Solid theoretical knowledge and also show applied skills in technology.
. Knowledge from plastic, steel and aluminum components and knowledge of polymer materials are qualifying.
. Team player with a strong drive and a positive attitude.
. Able to work in a structured way, both independently and in a team.
. Committed, self starting, taking responsibility, high focus and interest to improve the day-to-day work.
. Solution and result driven approach.
. Good knowledge of Swedish and English is preferred. Knowledge of other languages such as German, French, Chinese, Japanese, and Korean is also valued.
