Design engineer

We are looking for a senior design engineer to join our team at Scania! Our team is currently developing the cooling system for future electrical and common trucks within the TRATON organization. We are mainly focusing on the Cooling Central Unit, which is developed for electrical trucks.

Your tasks

As a senior design engineer, you will be responsible for supporting the team with your Scania expertise. This includes supporting the team with test plans, processes, system knowledge (OAS, KS, Structure, FPC code), and layout activities.

You will work closely with the Product Owner and lead technical activities such as supplier meetings, deviations, and decisions on concepts.

You will also have design responsibility for parts such as brackets, die-cast parts, or plastic pipes depending on the team’s needs.

 

Your background

To excel in this position, you should bring years of experience as a design engineer and a deep understanding of Scania's R&D methodologies. Be the reliable "go-to" person your team can count on.
