Who We Are
We are a team called Electric Driveline Complete within the Unit Electric Driveline. Our responsibility spans from Advanced Engineering and pre-Concept to Industrialization of complete E-Axles. As the core of the department, we collaborate closely with component and system teams as well as verification teams. Our work involves performing conceptual studies for new technology, driving Advanced Engineering, and benchmarking competitor products. We are responsible for the delivery of the complete E-axle out of production, including documentation, quality assurance, geometry assurance, data analysis, coordination between departments and teams, and requirement fulfillment to ensure quality and on-time delivery. The ED Complete team is divided into two sub-teams: Pre-concept Team and Industrialization Team.

What You'll Do
As an Engineer in the ED Complete team, you will coordinate and lead the work within your area of responsibility, developing components and technical solutions to reach objectives and secure deliveries within the given time and budget. You will learn the development process and the design challenges, taking the lead in creating new sustainable ways of designing and working with our components to ensure deliveries to pre-builds. Your role will involve working closely with various departments to ensure seamless coordination and quality assurance throughout the production process.

Who You Are
You have a University degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a similar field. You possess good knowledge within our line of business and have a strong will to continuously learn and develop your skillset in electric driveline technology and development. You excel in oral, written, and visual communication and presentation in English. Experience with mechatronic design and familiarity with Volvo Product Development System (VPDS) and tools such as KDP, VPC/QOP, Lotus, Teamcenter, and CATIA V5 is a merit. You are a service-minded team player with experience in collaborating with multiple teams, a genuine interest in innovation and design, a positive attitude, and a constructive mindset. You work in a structured manner with good documentation and communication skills, and you are self-driven, result-oriented, and flexible.
