What’s in it for you?
In the role as Design Engineer you will responsible for the design (CAD / CATIA V5) of all body sealings / roof sealing and sound damping / NVH material for all new programs and running changes. This also includes the positioning of plugs / tapes for steer and process holes in the body. It also includes the position of labels.

What you will do
In this role you will be responsible of the sealing models and sound damping materials that are used to create surfaces in Catia V5.

As a design engineer within CAD you will be working with surface products as a team member in the surface tream engineer team but will also support Team Labels. 

In this role you will be working in close collaboration with the different team member regarding requested CAD needs.

You and your skills
-    CATIA V5, with well proven competence within surfaces, at least 3 years of experience from earlier CAD/Design Engineer-assignments
-    Good engineering knowledge within the Surface Products area (Surface Treatment Engineering and Labels)
-    Mechanical Engineer (B.Sc./M.Sc. or equivalent)
-    Standard VCC engineering software.

Meritorious experience 
-    Experience from Volvo project work (VPDS) and Agile WoW as well as experience from body structure and or doors and trunklid
