Job description:
As a battery module design engineer at Scania you will play a crucial role in the development of advanced battery technologies. You will work together with a team of talented engineer and together optimize our energy storage solutions.
The team is responsible for the development of the internal structure of the module and the electric, thermal and dynamic properties when integrating battery cells into an electric truck, bus or power solution. In close collaboration with battery cell development, purchase, after market and production you will develop the battery platform of the future for Scania and TRATON Group.
Key responsibilities:
Research, design and develop next generation battery technology.
Collaborate with cross functional teams to optimize the battery system.
Develop and improve our methods and processes.

Qualifications:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degrees in mechanical and/or elector-mechanical design or within similar field.
Experience in related fields to above stated educations.
Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, innovative environment.
Excellent in problem solving and communication skills.
Knowledge in CAD, at Scania we use Catia V5.
