Design Engineer, Biomass Conversion

Valmet Biomass Conversion is looking for a new Design Engineer to our growing design team in Sundsvall, Sweden. Here you will have the possibility to design, develop and introduce new concepts and products to our customers in the biofuels, biochemicals and bioenergy field.
Your focus will be on innovative design and performance of our machines from different aspects like function, quality and safety. You will work in close co-operation with R&D, Sales, Delivery projects and Service in the daily work.
Requirements
You have a master’s or bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent. You have a couple of years’ experience from machine design and product development of machines, preferably with rotating parts. You are a strong team player who appreciate co-operation with people from different backgrounds and functions inside and outside of the company. You have strong motivation to reach set goals, are service minded and have the right attitude. You are fluent in English and Swedish.
Experiences from mechanical design in SolidWorks and design of pressure vessels is a merit.
