Arbetsbeskrivning
Scania is now undergoing a transformation from being a supplier of trucks, buses and engines to a supplier of complete and sustainable transport solutions.
Our group RBRF are working with bus chassis frames. Our responsibility is to create a load carrying structure for the chassis and adapt it to our internal customer needs. That give us great opportunity to have a broad cross functional cooperation with most of design groups, production, purchase, suppliers or after market. We are 12 design engineers supported by consultants, one object and one assignment leader.
We put our efforts on the product development, support red arrow organization and working in the concept development phase. We aim to work agile and use learnings to continuously improve our processes and methods.
We just completed one of the largest bus projects at Scania and started new, exciting ones where new chassis platform for future busses need to be developed. Therefore we have a chance to work with concept now and soon will start the product development phase. That gives possibilities to think in different ways and do the work from the sketch in some areas.
