Scania is now undergoing a transformation from being a supplier of trucks, buses and engines to a supplier of complete and sustainable transport solutions.
Do you want to be a part of a project team working with a vast amount of different products ranging from advanced camera systems to wheel hubs and seat covers? Accessories is a 0,5 billion SEK business for Scania every year and we want to increase the business even more!
The group RCRC have the R&D responsibility for the complete accessory business. Beyond that we are also responsible for Cab field quality and Design-on-line projects.
The common nominator within RCRC is that we lead smaller projects with time to market in focus.
As a design engineer within the accessories team you will get a broad knowledge of all cab components and design areas. You will be responsible for designing new products and update the current accessory portfolio together with Scania industrial design, sales & market and purchasing.
Your working tasks
You will have product responsibility from initiation to closure of projects.
In more detail you will:
• Specify requirements
• Design products
• Test assembly and verification on vehicle
Your profile
• You have a technical university degree and a couple of years of working experience within product development.
• You work in structured manner, continuously planning and prioritizing tasks and are quick to adapt to changed circumstances within the projects.
• You value an open work environment where ideas are welcome and discussed, and you are also a good listener.
• You have experience working with CATIA V5
• You communicate well in English.
