We are looking for a Design Engineer Exterior to Cleaning system area consist of following system: front wiper system, rear wiper system, washer system, signal horn and system for cleaning sensors. As a Design Engineer for cleaning you put the foundation early in the projects cleaning systems. The cleaning system has big impact on the exterior design with affect to hood heights and windscreen positions etc. With the maturity of the surrounding most of the detailed design will be moved to the supplier and you will be responsible to drive the supplier regarding part design and act as the main contact between the supplier and our client.
You will work tightly with the System Engineer for Cleaning. Depending on the challenges your task you might also support other Design Engineers within Exterior. The work principles within the Exterior Module team is flexibility and the possibility to use what you excel at together with a strong sense of co-operation; this meaning that you as part of a team will also support activities in other areas as well as you will get support on your area.
Requirements:
▪ Experience from development of wiper systems is a strong merit
▪ Skill and know-how as a design engineer
▪ Know-how on driving suppliers
▪ Minimum 5 years of Catia V5 experience
