Design Engineer, Filter Circuit

You will be part of HVDC within the Power Grids division in Ludvika. The HVDC technology has been on the market for the past 60 years and is used, among other things, to transmit power over long distances with minimal losses, using overhead lines, underground and submarine cable systems. Are you interested in analysis and calculations of harmonics from HVDC converters? Or having more interest in high frequency filters and EMC? As a design engineer in filter circuit you will perform simulations and dimensioning and design solutions for the right performance on our HVDC systems. Base is assessments and evaluations of preconditions, including customer and regulatory requirements, and follow up of performance is done using measurements on site.

You either have a Master of Science degree in Electrical Engineering / Physics or equivalent working experience. Professional experience in the area is desirable. In addition, you have a strong theoretical and practical technical interest. Since we work in an international environment you need to master spoken and written English. As a person you need to be a team player and work in an analytical and structured manner. You take responsibility for your work and deliver on time.
