Design engineer for electromobility solutions

The role

With us at Semcon, you get the opportunity to work on exciting assignments and projects mainly towards our automotive customers. In the role as Design Engineer for electromobility solutions you will work in cross-functional teams with focus on electric driveline design. Some examples of what you will do:

- Design engineering of electric machines in Creo or/and Catia

- Integration of high voltage system (400-800VDC)

- Responsible for different parts connected to the electric driveline

- Technical regulations towards suppliers, in collaboration with your team

This role is part of Semcon's product development department, where you also have the opportunity to work within Semcon's other industries.

Your profile

We are curious about you who take pride in the quality of your work and thrive in a creative environment that is fast-paced. We also believe that you have some of the qualifications below:

- A higher education in Mechanical, Electrical or Mechatronics Engineering (or equal)

- Background within Electric drivelines HW development
- Experience from working with high voltage components towards automotive
- Experience in electrical motor design
- Good knowledge with CAD tools (Catia V5 or Creo)
- Fluent English in both writing and speech
