Scania is now undergoing a transformation from being a supplier of trucks, buses and engines to a supplier of complete and sustainable transport solutions.
Do you want to join us in a journey where you’ll play one of the central roles in the development of electrical busses at Scania?
In our group, we are working on the development of load carrying structures for the bus chassis. We make a platform where all other bus components are assembled on. That creates a great opportunity for you who enjoy working cross-functional to contribute to the development of the complete product as a bus, to put the stone into fundaments of Scania vehicles.
We are proud of our mission which is to develop bus structure for sustainable mobility that makes Scania the first choice by society. We believe that limiting global warming is a must and therefore proudly contribute to reach Paris agreement goals by Scania. We work on improving our processes and put a lot of focus on group development. We are a diverse team where experience meets fresh ideas. In our team, you will meet people from different countries around the world.
Right now, we are looking for you who would like to work with the development of frames for buses in a modern way. We aim to work agile, are part of Program Increment planning, and adapt our way of working to Fit For Future.
We offer you a great place to work, where Diversity and Inclusion is in our hearts, where sharing experience is made on daily basis, and where all the challenges are solved together, by the whole group.
We believe that you with few years of experience in product development will contribute to our team with good knowledge of the design tools like Catia or similar and knowledge regarding designing the load carrying structures. Besides that you bring a strong will to make great things together within the bus organization at Scania.
As soon as you start you will get a chance to shape the future electrical bus frames and be a part of cross-functional team. You will get a chance to bring your own ideas and in many cases start from the sketch in order to come up on the solution.
Ability to communicate fluently in English is important since we have a lot of cross functional cooperation within Scania and outside. Swedish language skills are beneficial but not mandatory.
