Design Engineer - Gothenburg

Assignment Description:
We are looking for a Design Engineer for working with in EDU hardware with conceptual design of complete EDU. Conceptual design of e-motor housing, stator, active parts, transmission housing and internal components and integration of cooling lubrication design strategy.
The role will consist of main task in design development in Catia V5 of 3D models and partly required 2D for eventual prototypes and working with packaging in TCE.
What you'll do:
● Create and update design data in Siemens PLM (Teamcenter) and software NX including product drawings, CAD models, and geometric interfaces.
● Deliver conceptual design and deliverables for CV gates, designs for CAE analysis, concept design that can be used for prototype manufacturing and later used for industrialisation.
● Assist other department engineers in creating practical demonstrations of proposed solutions and creating them for other members of the team.
● Work alongside project management teams to successfully monitor progress and implementation of engineering initiatives
● Document and monitor requirements needed to institute proposed updates in relation to customer experience.
● Establish a framework for necessary contributions from various departments and facilitate their collaboration.
Who you are:
● Have at least 5 years of mechanical design experience, along with experience in Teamcenter and EDU development.
● Degree in Mechanical or other relevant engineering area with indepth knowledge of mechanical design of electric motor and transmission.
● Excellent communication, teamwork skills, inter-personal and Organizational skills.
● Good knowledge of product support work and product development is meritorious as well as experience in manufacturing.
