Cab Interior Development is now searching for a Mechanical Design Engineer to strengthen the team working with the Instrument Panel.

Your team

The team you will be a part of is responsible for the Instrument panel, Climate system and Driver Control Unit. We are a creative group consisting of mixed-gender of different aged-people with a good team spirit. We support each other to do our best, which contributes to the team’s success.

Your role

We offer a position as Mechanical Design Engineer, responsible for the Instrument Panel. The object task is installation of all structure and facial parts as well as all electronics that are installed in the instrument panel.

As a Design Engineer you will create drawings, models and specifications. You will get a wide network working together with colleagues from large parts of R&D, production, purchasing and our suppliers in creating the best possible driver environment.

You will manage the whole development process, from early concept phase, development, verification and up to introduction of your parts.

Your profile

Since the position requires contacts with several different departments within Scania as well as external suppliers, you are a positive person that takes initiative, without prestige and have good communication skills.


• You have a technical university degree and a couple of years of experience
• Experience in Catia V5 at least 2 years. If you have been working with Enovia it is an advantage
• Knowledge and experience of product development of plastic components
• You communicate well in Swedish and English
