Design engineer Mechatronics

We are now looking for Mechatronics design engineer in order to strengthen our HW team. As a Design engineer you will take an active part of system development in the field of systemizing our future Electrical powertrains. The development is carried out in collaboration with several parties inside Geely Group as well as by external contractors, which means you are used to work in automotive industry and drive suppliers in the development work. Working with Electronic and mechanical interfaces, systems and functions are of importance in this position.

You are a strong team player ready to join onboard one of our agile team, bringing your curiosity, open mind and positive attitude, and your ability to lead development. You will belong to a group with positive, competent engineers, with a high energy in the group and good team spirit.

This is what you will do most of the time:

- Design and cad engineering of electronics and mechanical interfaces

- Support engineering work in projects

- Work within advance engineering, drive from idea to concept

- Work with requirement setting

- Work closely with suppliers to get an optimized design

- Be a contributor in an agile team

Suitable background and experience

- CAD experience in CATIA V5

- Experience within automotive industry preferably within Powertrain systems

- Experience of work within Mechatronic, Electric Machines and/or HW electronics

- Experience of working cross functionally

- Fluent in English (both spoken and written)
