Design Engineer MTX - Mullsjö

The global Manual shifter design teams are located in four countries; Sweden (Mullsjö), India (Gurgaon), the US (Novi) and China (Wuxi). The design engineer we are currently searching for will work in the Swedish team in Mullsjö.
Job profile
As a design engineer in the Manual shifter (MTX) team you will be a part of the Driveline division and develop products for several large global customers. You will also internally at KA work mainly with contacts abroad, such as in the US, Brazil, China, India, France and Slovakia. You will have responsibility for product and drawing design in product improvement projects and new development projects, and have contact with purchasing, production and aftermarket organizations.
Your daily meetings will be primarily through phone or online meetings. All communication is in English, which is our corporate language. The pace of the work at KA is often quite high, which demands quick innovative problem solving and a well structured daily work.

Candidate profile
Requirements:
- A degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent.
- Knowledge of dimensioning and drawing modeling.
- Communicative with good skills in English, both verbally and in writing.
- Structured and with care of giving quality in your work deliveries
- Experience of CATIA V5, which is the mainly used 3D/2D software at KA.
Meriting:
- Experience of product development in earlier career.
- Experience in the Automotive Industry.
- Knowledge of design and production of products in plastic, rubber, steel and aluminum materials.
- Knowledge of French, Chinese, Hindi or other languages.
