Design Engineer Powertrain Installation Sweden

Powertrain Installation Sweden department, within Technology ? Engine&Auxiliaries, is responsible for new development and maintenance of different systems regarding engine and driveline, e.g. cooling system, exhaust system or fuel system for Volvos haulers and wheel loaders.

The main tasks are balancing of requirements for the optimization of machine solution as well as engineering and machine packing in 3D CAD. The work is performed in project form and you will have a wide network of contacts with other functions within the company and with various external partners.

We think that you have a master or bachelor degree of science with the focus on mechanical engineering or comparable experience. With advantage you also have some years of experience in the above areas.

As person you are flexible and enjoy both independently work as well as teamwork. We see a benefit if you have ambition, aptitude and interest to develop your skills as a leader in your role as engineer.

Of importance is that you have your own driving force and power of initiative as well as an analytic skill and like to solve technical issues. The interfaces are even international and it is important that you manage both written and spoken English and Swedish language.
