Are you a Design Engineer who is keen on working with development of exciting products in a fast-paced environment? The department Light Demolition at Husqvarna Construction is now looking for a skilled engineer who can contribute with great design for our remote-controlled demolition robots!
Welcome to one of the world's oldest Start-ups! By constantly challenging ourselves, we at Husqvarna have continued to develop our business for more than three centuries. This is our heritage. And our future. Do you want to be a part of it?
We are now looking for a committed and independent CAD artist, who dares to challenge and be challenged and who likes a varied everyday life, in a company where innovation is at the top of the agenda.
About the role
As a Design Engineer you will join our team responsible for the development of remote-controlled demolition robots, which can demolish everything from floors to ceilings. Our team are the specialists in this product and work both with new designs and product maintenance.
You will be part of the whole process - from the first sketch via trial assembly and test drive - to the start of production of a new product. Focus is on sheet metal construction, but you will also work with other areas, such as plastic parts and cast steel. We work in project form and therefore you have many different contact points within Husqvarna, as well as with external partners and suppliers. We have short lead times from design to prototype, which means that you get quick feedback on your design solutions.
Who are you?
You have probably worked several years as a designer, preferably in sheet metal with bending, welding and processing. Catia is the tool of your choice and specifications and drawings a part of your daily work.
You are used to day-to-day coordination and communication with the teams around you and therefore you are fluent in English, both spoken and written and are comfortable in speaking Swedish. If you also have worked with Teamcenter and have experience in the design of machines with hydraulics, we see that as an extra plus.
