At Volvo Cars, we are always looking for talented persons that want to participate in our strive to provide our customers the freedom to move in a personal, sustainable and safe way. We have an exciting journey ahead, working together in a fast-paced global environment. All pieces count, and we are now looking for a developer working with project lead, in the group Trim parts. 

What do we offer?
The group Trim parts belongs to the department/ART Interior Room and consists of two agile development teams, responsible for Decorative & Chrome parts and Air vents & Air ducts, respectively. We are now looking for an engaged member to our team working with Decorative & Chrome parts, responsible for the development of all decorative parts in the car.

This is a possibility for you to grow in a friendly environment with dedicated colleagues, aiming for our common goals. You will have the opportunity to follow car programs throughout the whole process and be challenged with new tasks during the journey. In this role you will be given the possibility to improve your leadership skills and be able to deepen your technical knowledge of the system area. You are also given the chance to build new networks within the company, as with other R&D areas, attributes, and design.

What will you do?
You will be responsible for securing project deliveries in accordance with time plan, technical solution and cost, and together with the team be responsible for function, performance and quality for our parts. You will lead and coordinate cross functional teams, consisting of both the needed competences within Volvo Cars and from supplier.

Who are you?
We are looking for someone who is collaborative and organized, interested in working with people and processes, in a constantly changing environment. You possess great communication skills and are self-motivated with a strong delivery orientation.
We see that you have a university degree within Engineering, and at least three years’ experience from product development, preferably within automotive industry. It is beneficial if you have an interest in and/or have worked with sustainable related questions regarding materials. Preferably you have been part of an organization practicing the Agile ways of working.
