Volvo CE in Braås, located close to Växjö, develops Articulated haulers and Wheel loaders. We are four design engineering teams responsible for new product and feature development, and aftermarket quality. Now we need to strengthen our teams and we are looking for Design engineers who have the drive and passion to contribute to great teamwork and excellent innovations to meet future business challenges.
Today these teams consist of engineers working in a supportive open landscape, closely together with production, purchasing, suppliers and aftermarket. Together with your new colleagues, you will create products that represent quality, safety and care for the environment. We benefit from having the production line at the same location, as well as a global network within the Volvo Group.

Knowledge & experience
To be successful in your new role you need the following knowledge/experience:
M.Sc./B.Sc. degree in Mechanical engineering or equivalent
Experience from Mechanical Design
Strong communication skills in Swedish and English, spoken and written
Catia v5 or other 3D-modelling software
It is an advantage if you have knowledge or experience from the following fields:
Off-road machinery / Heavy trucks
Heavy weldments and casting/forging
Sheet metal design
Plastics design
Installation of engine, electrics and hydraulics
FEM calculations
Lean and Agile way of working
