Assignment description:

For our client, a leading automotive manufacturer, we are seeking skilled Design Engineers with expertise in Wiring Harness design.

The Electrical Distribution System (EDS) department, manages a range of harnesses, including low, mid, and high voltage systems. We are in search of talented design engineers eager to contribute their harness design experience to our team. These professionals will oversee wire harness designs from the conceptual stage through to the final product, ensuring build-to-print excellence.

The role involves collaborative efforts with suppliers and various internal stakeholders such as manufacturing engineers, mechanical integration specialists, electrical designers, and attribute teams. Additionally, our design engineers play a crucial role in managing changes and improvements within the department.

Competencies:

- Proficiency in Teamcenter and Catia V5, demonstrating adeptness in using these advanced tools for design and project management.

- A solid electrical background, providing a deep understanding of electrical systems and principles relevant to harness design.

- At least 6 years of relevant experience in the field, showcasing a track record of success and expertise in similar roles.
