Scania is now undergoing a transformation from being a supplier of trucks, buses and engines to a supplier of complete and sustainable transport solutions.

Do you want to be part of this journey and take responsibility for the design of steering and steering systems in future Scania trucks?

The group Steering is responsible for the design of components and the design of the steering on trucks. We are now working on designing the future steering systems and creating new possibilities for electrifying trucks. We are looking for people with a great interest in vehicles and technology who want to work with the design of our systems.

Your tasks
You will together with the colleagues in the group be responsible for the design of steering and steering hydraulics in the future trucks. In our group we are continuously working to improve our methods and our product. Your main tools are CATIA but the work as a designer at Scania includes cooperation with other design teams such as testing, calculation/simulation, purchase, production, prototype workshops, and market department.

Your profile
You are an engineer (MSc/BSc M.E.) with a few years of experience of mechanical design of steering systems at heavy vehicles.

You are positive, driven, and willing to grow in your role as a designer. Cooperation, responsibility, and flexibility comes naturally to you. You like networking and developing yourself and your skills. You have a positive attitude and are driven in the way you work. Knowledge of Swedish is preferred.
