Propulsion is a central role for Scania and TRATON's future as a leader in sustainable transport solutions. We are responsible for meeting the needs of the Group and future partners for new transmission platforms - electrified and conventional. We are involved in driving the shift to sustainable transport solutions.
Work assignment
We are now looking for a Designer to Propulsion (EVPQD) for assignment management/design in product follow up, to handle both our conventional and electrified powertrains.
The responsibility of the position spans the entire TRATON family where you lead your cross-functional team in the work through the different project phases. In this way, we work closely with development, purchasing, production and aftermarket and you get to learn about the entire process.
At Scania, we work agile according to the SAFe framework and you will lead the work in a Value Creating Team (VCT). Assignment management means that you and your team are responsible for overall planning, financing, construction and implementation. You achieve success by challenging, engaging and motivating your team to solve both simple and more complicated and often time-critical cases.

Who are you?
You are structured and communicative and are not afraid to question when you think something can be improved. You take initiative and collaborate with a prestigeless mindset.
We are looking for you who have a Bachelor- or Master degree in Engineering or have equivalent work experience from product development, production or purchasing.
If you have several years of experience from Scania R&D, it is an advantage.
You communicate fluently in speech and writing in English.
