The product area head restraint is now progressing with new technologies and designs. To strengthen our development team we now look for candidates taking part in this expansion. MAIN TASKS - Interpret customer demands and technical regulations/specifications and translate them into innovative designs. -To develop and design concepts from the first idea to finished validated products. - To work in accordance with the defined design process and to observe given legislation, directives and concessions which may affect the given area of design. - To be responsible for developing and establishing layout and packing models, CAD drawings for prototypes and serial production. - Continuously through the development process to prepare work packages for tolerance- and FEA studies and evaluate the results. - Work in co-operation with test and validation department to ensure that test specifications and methods are correct and correspond to customer's expectations. PROFILE We are looking for person with the following merits: - M. Sc. degree in mechanical or electro mechanical engineering, or equivalent experience. - Experience in areas of conceptual design. - Extensive experience of automotive design or development, preferably in the seating area. - Social capability in teamwork, customer contacts and support - Fluent English is mandatory. German or French language skills are preferred. - CAD software and 3D design experience. LOCATION AND REPORTING Location is Kongsberg Automotive in Mullsjö Sweden. The position is reporting to R&D manager Head Restraints.
