We are looking for a Design Methodology Engineer for R&D infrastructure.

The position
You will join a company under constant development, working to update and develop today's design methods as well as shaping tomorrows processes in a European context.

Based on existing processes, you are expected to carry out and partially drive the update of CAD/PLM processes with an outset from the Mjölby site. Parallelly, you will be an important piece in the puzzle to harmonize and standardize the methods throughout Europe; your colleagues can be found in Sweden, Italy and France.
I this role you will work with many parts of our process, everything from updating standard libraries to evaluating new features and capabilities to support quality in respective systems. The long-term goal is common and efficient product development processes with user-friendly and well-adapted development tools.

Your Profile

* General understanding of product development processes.
* Broad knowledge within CATIA V5 and 3DEXPERIANCE ENOVIA.
* Skills within CAD/PLM working procedures/methodology is desired.
* Knowledge within design principles and features in 3DEXPERIANCE is a merit.
* Knowledge within MBD (model-based definition), drawings, simulations is a merit.
* Structured with the ability to also understand short term needs and strategic decisions.
* Bachelor of Science within mechanical engineering or product development or at least 3 years of equivalent work life experience.
* Good skills in English are a requirement.
* Fluency in Swedish is a requirement.
