The User Experience Design Chapter in Digital Delivery collaborates with other parts of the organization, to foster an environment where ideas, thoughts and opinions can be shared. We are team players with common ambitions, and we win together by uncovering user needs through collected data and inputs to improve the usability of products and services across the Volvo Group. Our UX Design Chapter team are tasked with securing consistent user experience, interaction and visual treatment of elements and components across products and services, considering a cohesive holistic experience.


This is how you could make an impact


As the Design Ops Lead, you will be a part of the UX Design Chapter leadership team and report to the Head of UX Design Chapter in Digital Delivery. You will lead the operational development of the Chapter and support a growing group of UX Strategists, Researchers & Creators.


Your responsibilities will include:
Support the shift from project-based way of working into a stable team set up.
Support effective recruitment and onboarding of new team members.
Establish and nurture a community, foster knowledge sharing across UX Design teams and socializing success stories.
Scope, kick-off and facilitate continues improvement initiatives.
Identify and actively work to remove barriers to ensure successful outcome.
Connect and develop ways of working with the larger Business and Dev Ops teams.
Nurture a network of partners and suppliers.
Establish measures that illustrates how UX makes an impact.



Who are you?


You may not be a designer, though we believe you want to leverage your understanding of Design Thinking on organizational development. You are a dedicated generalist who likes to identify and prioritize pain points and opportunities for increased efficiency, effectiveness, collaboration and alignment across many teams and individuals. You enjoy connecting to people, you listen to understand, and you identify gaps and iterate upon solutions continuously.
