Responsibilities and tasks
- Create and execute processes that support design work across Klarna, such as end-to-end ownership of design tools and productivity initiatives.
- Use your thorough grasp of the UX craft and methodology to play an important role in establishing design programme management processes.
- Collaborate closely with design leaders and cross-functional partners to distribute policies, guidelines, and trainings on key processes and tools. - Manage relationships with external vendors and collaborate with Legal, Procurement, and Privacy teams to ensure efficient and compliant business practises.
- Coordinate and standardise ways to investigating, procuring, and maintaining design tools and systems. - Anticipate productivity issues in teams and units and give solutions to boost efficiency and velocity.
- Ensure the design team's operational excellence at scale, and continue to build and iterate as the firm expands.
Skill Set Required
- 3+ years of experience in design operations or programme management - Experience working directly with product designers, UX researchers, and UX writers, as well as product teams or programmes from idea to implementation.
- Proven track record of establishing operational excellence in big multinational IT organisations' design teams.
- Understanding of data protection rules (e.g., GDPR) as well as expertise with vendor management, tool procurement, and budget management.
An enthusiastic problem solver who is committed to the operational success of product teams and initiatives.
- Outstanding communication abilities that inspire and engage senior executives, cross-functional stakeholders, and the design community.
- Strong project management and organisational abilities to successfully handle design operational difficulties in a big enterprise.
