We are now hiring a Design Quality Assurance Engineer to lead on the implementation and continuous improvement of our design transfer process which sees products navigated from R&D through to manufacturing and operations. You will play a vital role in connecting various stakeholders and bringing together different business units to achieve a singular goal.
Key Responsibilities:
Take full accountability for the quality of the product design transfer process
Provide guidance to operational teams on quality and product issues
Ensure project feedback is provided along with relevant statistical data
Liaise with both internal and 3rd party contract manufacturing sites
Utilise document management system to ensure efficiency and compliance
Deliver continuous improvement and continuity to site processes/procedures
Identify future process tools and create business case for company introduction

Qualifications & Experience:
Strong knowledge in Quality standards with a particular focus on Medical devices (e.g. MDR/MDD, ISO 13485, CFR 820, ISO 14971)
Demonstrable experience supporting manufacturing or supplier sites
Excellent interpersonal, communication, facilitation and team working skills
Influential project management exposure
Strong technical writing and reporting skills
Fluent spoken and written English
