General Purpose:

Flex Design in Ronneby: More than 15 years of experience providing high tech design services of telecom, network infrastructure and industrial products. Specializing in the areas of sketch to scale solutions.

For our Design Center which is part of our European design organization consisting of 400+ design engineers we are hiring a Design Site Manager overseeing a team of 35 employees of the design center focused on new product development and test solutions development.

You will:

- Lead your team in the area of design and development of electronic hardware, software and mechanical design
- be responsible for strategic site development, projects, as well as
- partner with other functional leaders within our European organization to achieve Flex strategic objectives.
- Partner with Business Development and support Customer facing interactions and meetings
- provide technical and operational guidance to your managers to ensure achievement of goals and objectives,
- ensure proper management of budget, schedules and performance indicators,
- organize and lead reviews to ensure projects are delivered on time, as per cost targets and within quality specifications,
- develop and continuously improve methods, systems and processes in a complex and rapidly changing environment to improve customer satisfaction,
- Encourage and drive One Flex, One Team culture and engagement with other locations

Your needed skills:

- MS?s degree in a related field or equivalent experience and training plus a minimum of 5 years of management experience
- Deep technical knowledge and a complete understanding of electrical engineering functions and their related businesses
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret complex documents
-Experience regarding developing functional strategic plans and objectives
- Strong project management skills
- Clear communicator
- Strong track record as a leader and talent development expert
- Ability to make effective and persuasive speeches and presentations on controversial or complex topics to top management, public groups and customers
- Business acumen and Customer focus
- Mature Leadership style ? Humbleness and extraordinary communication skills + Self aware
