Do you want to be involved in developing Scania's future technical solutions? The transport sector is currently in a giant technological leap where the development of autonomous, electrified and connected vehicles gives us completely new challenges and exciting opportunities. The group UPBA is responsible for developing a variety of electric and pneumatic actuators that is used for different functions for example gearshifting and clutch manouvering in both electrified and conventional transmissions.
Who are you?
We are looking for you who like technology and problem solving. Your focus on the customer is clear where quality comes first. You take initiatives and responsibility. You have an interest in understanding the needs and challenges of the future.
• Sc or M.Sc engineer (mechanical or equivalent).
• English is required and Swedish is an advantage.
• You are able to communicate well and cooperate easily with others.
• Advantage but not required: Experience in some of the fields of supplier development, electromechanics, pneumatics, rubber sealings, aluminum castings, FMEA, or NVH testing.
Your work assignments
In your role as a designer, you will be responsible for products from concept development, industrialization, and field quality. You will create the detailed design and iterate it according to testing and field feedback. All in close cooperation to purchasing, production, software dev. and all related cross functions.
