Work assignments
As a design engineer at propulsion development at Scania you are a vital part in the development and quality assurance of our electric powertrains and gearboxes for combustion vehicles. You will have the possibility to join a highly competent and motivated team that are responsible for the housings and planar sealings in gearboxes and ePropulsion systems.
The work as a design engineer in the group will provide a unique overall responsibility, were you will get the understanding of how our vehicles are used by the customers. The work enables contact with multiple cross-functions within Scania, as well as other design groups, market, purchasing, after market and production. The work also includes collaboration with our colleagues at MAN Truck & Bus and suppliers distributed all over Europe.
Your profile
We are looking for a driven person that want to be in the fore front of a the electrification era at Scania. As a person you are motivated by challenges in design complexity, time-to-market, collaboration models between different brands and new testing methods. We believe you have a positive attitude, structured way of working, creativity and a strong sense of responsibility.
Experience from design within, oil systems, strength calculations, manufacturing methods and advanced CAD-modelling is meritorious. You have an academic background and more than three years of experience from design work. You master Swedish and English in speech and writing.
