The primary responsibility of the Desktop Support Technician is to provide technical support for all global Calabrio employees including troubleshooting of Macs, PCs, printers, and software applications. This position will also be responsible for setup and onboarding of new employees, upgrades for existing employees as well as decommissioning of workstations as needed. You interact with a lot of people daily both in person and online; therefore, your interpersonal skills will need to be high. You enjoy helping others find solutions to their problems and you are a great team player. You will be a part of a global team working together through many cultures and time zones.
WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING
Providing technical support, responding and completing help desk tickets as submitted by end-users.
Setup and onboarding of new employees including accounts, hardware, and software.
Responsible for installation, configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of user PC’s.
Test and install computer hardware and software applications.
Interface with third party vendors to resolve certain hardware or software issues.
Assist in the organization and inventory of all hardware and software resources.
Develop and maintain required end user documentation.
Performs hands-on fixes at the desktop level, including installing hardware, software, and configuring systems and applications.
Support printers, audiovisual and peripherals
Other duties as assigned by Supervisor.

HOW YOU’LL STAND OUT
Customer service skills
Strong interpersonal skills
Strong attention to detail
Basic understanding of TCP/IP networking, DNS, DHCP, VPN and RDP
Basic knowledge of Office365 including Microsoft Teams.

WHAT IS REQUIRED FOR YOU TO APPLY?
Be enrolled in a bachelor’s program or have a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
Be able to work June to August
Speak and write fluently in English
