Your Future Team
In our team, you'll be involved in driving the development and testing of mobile applications that connect end-users with our expanding range of cameras and other hardware. You'll be an essential part of efficient, agile teams with expertise in iOS, Android, and cloud-based services. We work closely together, with a constant exchange of knowledge, contributing to each other's development. We ensure that we stay at the forefront of technology choices, testing methodologies, and the build process. What you'll do here as a DevOps Engineer
We are currently seeking an experienced and driven DevOps engineer who, together with testers and developers in the teams, will be responsible for and drive our development environment and take our mobile application distribution to the next level.

As a DevOps engineer, you will monitor and contribute to the development teams' DevOps activities. You will be responsible for guiding the teams in configuration management and automation of build pipelines and test automation that streamline, support, and enable agile workflows, continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD).

Responsibilities
Management and development of continuous integration and distribution solutions for mobile applications for both iOS and Android platforms. This includes documentation, deployment, maintenance, and threat modeling.

Knowledge
Technical leadership for the DevOps platform, where you challenge both yourself and the teams in implementing the best tools for platform-specific development, reusable code, and documentation to meet Axis' quality and standards.

Strategy
Overall strategy, coordination, and execution regarding build methods, build environments, test automation, and distribution of mobile applications to known portals (Apple, Google). This includes monitoring trends and best practices for CI/CD and representing the department regarding CI/CD in technical forums and our manifesto.

Who You Are
We're looking for someone with several years of experience working with CM, CI/CD, and DevOps, and good knowledge of agile development methods. You have a Master's or Bachelor's degree in computer science and/or relevant work experience. You have previously worked with software development environments and have experience with build processes and pipelines.

We work with various tools, so you have skills in several of these:

* MacOS/Linux
* Knowledge of networks and network topologies and firewalls.
* Terminal/Bash/Scripting
* Signing and distribution (Google Play, Apple App Store)
* Version control with Git
* GitHub/GitHub Actions/GitHub Workflows

Desirable:

* Python
* Testing frameworks Espresso and XCUITest
* Appstore/TestFlight
* Firebase/TestLab
* Fastlane

You are responsible and proactive, enjoy growing with the team and the business, sharing experiences, and coaching development teams. You have the ability to empathize with the customer's perspective and to see both the big picture and delve into details when necessary.
