About the job
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Test Developer to join our dynamic team.
As a Developer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our ‘Diagnostic Platform’ (a comprehensive set of AWS services and applications used in for example updating vehicle software , reading diagnostics data and much more).
You will primarily analyse our infrastructure, test tools and automation set-up used today and recommend how to improve and enhance it. We are looking to build a range of test frameworks that can be cross-functional and will be able to verify our platform as a whole or by independent services. You will work in cross-functional teams, have a strong technical background, pay attention to detail, and have a passion for delivering high-quality products. You also thrive in a fast-paced agile environment.
About the Role
In your role, you will be responsible for designing and implementing automated testing frameworks and strategies that ensure the quality and reliability of our software products. You will collaborate closely with development teams to integrate automated testing into the software development lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain automated test scripts using C#/Python and other relevant tools.


Design and implement test plans, test cases, and test scenarios to verify software functionality and performance.


Collaborate with software developers and stakeholders to identify and prioritize testing requirements.


Execute and analyze test results, identify defects, and work closely with the development team to resolve issues.


Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving software quality processes.


Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and emerging technologies in software testing.


Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.


Proven experience as a Developer or similar role.


Strong proficiency in C# programming language and object-oriented design principles.


Experience with automated testing frameworks such as NUnit, MSTest, or similar.


Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and continuous integration tools (e.g., Jenkins).


Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.


Effective communication skills and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
