We at Ericsson in Lund are looking for new engineering talents who would like to develop and test L1 and L2 software for 5G base stations.

We want candidates, who have a deep interest in developing and testing sophisticated software targeting a multi-core, embedded system. Experience and knowledge from working with communication software and protocols is a further advantage. We are recruiting people with varied levels of experience.
You will
You will be part of a Software Development Team with responsibility for systemization, design, development and verification of new software and maintaining current solutions. To succeed as a software developer in our setup an interest in and understanding of hardware blocks is highly beneficial. Becoming a member of a team of highly qualified engineers will provide excellent conditions to learn the design and architecture in-depth and to build upon your skills to develop high quality software.
To be successful in the role you must have

An open mind to work outside your own subject area to be able to broaden your competence to get a deeper understanding of our products.
Willingness to seek for the new challenges to continuously improve, which will lead to more opportunities to learn, try out new roles and get even more responsibility.
Education/ Qualifications:
You have a Master of Science degree in Computer Science, Electrical or Electronic Engineering, Wireless Communication, Applied Physics or equivalent. High interest in software (SW) development and testing, as well as basic understanding of network layer protocols is encouraged.
Furthermore, interest and experience in some of below areas is meriting:
Embedded real-time SW architecture principles, implementation and verification
Multi-core processor programming
Programming skills e.g. C/C++, Python, Java
General signal processing and algorithms
5G or 4G protocol stack knowledge
Software verification and test automation technologies
Software integration and trouble shooting
Knowledge and Skills in Lean & Agile
