Product Development Unit Baseband SW (PDU BB) is part of Development Unit Networks and responsible for driving baseband software product development end to end by having competence and capability to take on full feature responsibility.
As an experienced Verification Engineer and Integrator, you will work in a team that has the responsibility for developing 5G baseband software products. That means testing and integrating advanced signal-processing functions and algorithms in a cycle and memory constrained real-time environment. The test environment is both simulated and true e2e including Core Network, Radio Access nodes and real or simulated mobile phones.
PDU BB is located mainly on different sites in Sweden, Canada, China and US. This position is placed at the Stockholm Kista site.
You will
Develop (integrate and test) 5G baseband architecture, functionality and features in an end-to-end as well as in a partly simulated environment
Write inventive, high quality, clean, optimized test code
Maintain and improve the quality of L1 and L2 part of the Baseband product by securing legacy coverage in test loops
Perform trouble shooting and customer support
Drive continuous improvements of products, environments and processes
Make sure that the right test environment is available in time
Drive Test analysis for the feature/Solution Packages according to our Test Strategy
To be successful in the role you must have
4+ years of software test/integration experience
BSc level (MSc preferred) in a technical field or the equivalent level of knowledge
Programming/scripting skills (Java, Python, Erlang)
3GPP and IEEE specifications experience
Experience with test, integration and troubleshooting tools like UE simulators and protocol analyzers
Multi-core processor understanding
Real time embedded systems knowledge
