What’s in it for you?
We are looking for a passionate Scrum Master that can coach and challenge our product team in delivering outstanding business value by solving our user’s problems. You will join the Order Management & Planning product cluster within Digital Core at Volvo Cars. This product cluster delivers digital solutions that improves stability and consistency in production plan, which will enable us to provide shorter and more accurate lead times to our end customers. You will be part of the journey as we deliver on our company’s vision and ensure high flow through our factories. We use modern tools and agile methods to ensure high quality and adaptability in our delivery.
Our product teams consist of Product Owner, Scrum Master, Developers and sometimes a BA. All development is done by the team and team members are located in Gothenburg, Europe and India.
For the way of working, we follow the Agile framework with 2-week sprints to create business value continuously and have a 12-week PI cadence for the cluster. We are constantly evaluating how to work in the best way, applying common sense to ensure as little waste as possible.

What you’ll do:
You will act as a servant leader for the team by driving and organizing the team events and supporting the teams in delivering value to customers. You will be coaching the teams and people in all aspects of agile ways of working and mind-sets. Managing and optimizing the flow of value, Encouraging Continuous Delivery Pipeline and DevOps to improve quality and speed of delivery.
Support the Product Owner in her effort to manage the backlog with respect to priorities and scope. Facilitate preparation and readiness for PI ceremonies and work together with the RTE and fellow Scrum Masters to improve the collaboration in the cluster. Drive team PI objectives and work to increase clarity about the purpose of the product. Encouraging continuous improvement as well as collaboration across roles and domains.
Who you are:
We are looking for a person with servant leadership and software product development experience. It’s valuable if you have experience working as Scrum Master. We believe you have the ability to create an environment that foster high performing teams. You should be able to drive and create commitment. As a person you are solution and delivery oriented with a strong drive and problem-resolution approach. You are culture and people driven, with a team before me mind-set. You are able to get people to talk and align on the way forward. You are value-oriented, with an ability to inspire and motivate others in working towards a goal. You can communicate in the English language both verbally and in writing.
