About the position

Our work really makes a difference. We develop advanced analytics platforms that helps our co-workers taking more flexible and fast decisions based on data. This is important in E.ONs work with developing our future electricity grid, increase the electricity capability and when collecting data from our electricity meters.
As our Developer for Advanced Analytics / Platform Specialist you will be located in the heart of Advanced Analytics at E.ON. You will be responsible for developing and maintaining advanced analytics platforms at the highest industry standards. This means you will work with the whole software development lifecycle including Requirement Analysis, Architecture Design, Implementation, Testing and Monitoring.
You will partner with both Business and IT stakeholders to understand analytics needs and execute them in fit-for-purpose, flexible, secure, stable, re-usable and easy maintainable manner.
The position is located in Malmö.
Profile
To thrive and succeed in the role, we believe you have a few years´experience of designing and developing solutions in the analytics area, great programming skills and knowledge in Unix/Linux. You have a degree with focus on Computer Science, Information systems or equivalent. It is desirable if you have experience in distributed computing or knowledge in any of the following: Java, ETL, Spark, Kafka, NoSQL, Kubernetes.
We believe you are an independent and curious person who enjoys driving your own work forward. Since collaboration with your team and co-workers in a very dynamic and agile environment will be an important part of your daily work, we think you are helpful, communicative and have a positive mindset.
