Ericsson in Lund, is looking for new energetic talents who would like to work with development of Baseband Software!
We are part of PDU (Product Development Unit) Baseband Software, and we drive 5G NR (New Radio) end-to-end baseband software product development, relying on the competence and capability of our people to tackle full feature responsibility i.e. enabling the implementation and verification of full feature requirements. Based in Stockholm, we are proud to lead the NR MSRBS (New Radio Multi standard Radio Base station) baseband products and to be responsible for all product development planning and maintenance.

A successful candidate will be highly motivated, autonomous and innovative. You will be part of a dynamic team working on the implementation and improvement of the 5G baseband software. Finally, to achieve our team goals, you must be flexible.
This role will report into Erik Dahlbäck Line Manager Lower Products.
You will
• Work in a team that has end-to-ended responsibility for the 5G baseband software products, including Layer 1, layer 2 and scheduling.
• Do systemization on feature level, feature implementation and together with testers secure the functionality in an integrated system.
• Need to have, or are willing to learn, a deep understanding of the 3GPP standard, algorithm simulation, concurrent programming technology and the excellent programming and test skills.
• In daily work perform requirement analysis, design, software coding, integration, verification, maintenance support and product documentation.
• Implementation of 5G baseband architecture, functionality and features
• Work on 5G feature systemization and participate in pre-studies as needed
• Perform trouble shooting and customer support
• Perform Continuous Analysis and Requirement Handling
• Primarily develop but also test high quality products
• Bring up continuous improvements of products and processes
To be successful in the role you must have
• MSc level in a technical subject area or the equivalent level of knowledge
• English Skills
• C/C++/Java/Python programming skills and interest is a must
• Deep knowledge on 3GPP standard, L1&L2
• System level thinking
• Multi-core processor programming knowledge
• Understanding of real time embedded systems
• Wireless knowledge
• Great skills in solving problems
• Good Teamwork and colloboration skills
• Lean and Agile knowledge and skills
• To be creative and innovated
• Interest in sharing your knowledge
• Good communication skills
• The ability to deliver results and meet customer expectations
