Mectec is an international company that sells, develops and manufactures innovative industrial labeling solutions known as ‘Print & Apply’. Mectec is now recruiting two developers to the R&D team in Malmö.

Job description:

As developer at Mectec you will be an important part of the software developer team within R&D. You will maintain, develop and customize Mectec’s solutions for customers in an international market. You will also be part of developing new solutions with high quality to meet future market demands. The R&D projects are varied, from more simple customizations to technically complex product development projects. You will be involved in the whole project cycle from defining software specifications to testing and implementation. In your daily work you will interact with mechanical and electrical engineers within R&D, as well as other sections within the company and the group. You will be part of an expansive and international company, with a flexible and non-hierarchical organization that allows for fast decisions.

You will be based in Malmö.

Candidate profile:

You have at least a few years of experience from developing in embedded systems, and you also have a university degree in computer science, or similar. You are used to working in a project driven, high paced and dynamic environment. You have excellent programming skills in C and C++ and preferably knowledge of Assembler, automated testing and building automation. You will work with IBM Rational Team Concert , Oracle’s Agile PLM and also with our ERP system Pyramid. Good communication skills in both spoken and written English is needed.

You are a dedicated, analytical and non prestigious individual with a strong drive to solve technical problems. You have a team player personality, you are open, helpful, flexible and with good social skills. You are also innovative, structured and you enjoy working both independently and in project teams.
