Developer for Java Application Servers

We are now looking for a Developer for Java Application Servers to one of our clients.Our client has a wide landscape of applications mostly based on SAP SRM based technology combined with fully self developed applications and modules connected and integrated via WebMethods.Application Management as a part of the corporate service centre enables them to deliver Efficient Purchasing solutions by the provisioning of shared applications guided by the principles of simplicity, scalability and reliability.The role You will work as a developer, mainly on our Java based business document integration platform, Webmethods 6.5.You will work close to the architect as part of the Central Application team.You will be responsible for: - Develop new and improved functionality according to change requests.- Estimate work needed for proposed changes of functionality.- Provide specifications and lead external consultants hired for external development projects.- Quality Assurance of development from external consultants.- Be an interface to Administration, Support and Infrastructure management.- Error tracking and resolving problems related to code issues.Your profile - You have experience from Java development.- Experience from WebMethods or other integration platforms is an advantage but not required.- Knowledge about SQL databases.- Basic knowledge about load and unit testing.- You have basic knowledge in the following areas: * Network protocols, TCP/IP, http, SSL * Developing web services and/or web applications * XML and XML-schemas - You are open minded and always eager to learn more.- You are well structured and able to work independently.The position is based in Stockholm Our client offers an open and informal environment in top surroundings together with a team of the most competent and professional colleagues.They will provide you with opportunities for personal development and experience in a dynamic business environment.Our client has very strong investors, a compelling business idea and business plan, and an exciting customer base.Selection and interviews will be held continuously.
