What you will do
As a Developer in the Inverter HW team, you will work with Requirement Engineering to deliver Design Prerequisites, Technical Regulations, Contractual Elements and Compliance Agreements with suppliers for Inverters.
You will take lead and drive Tier1 suppliers which includes leading technical design reviews, internal and supplier joint reviews and follow up on verification activities. 
Your tasks will also include Cost engineering, benchmarking and reporting status/progress together with Quality Assurance disciplines such as FMEA.

A close co-operation within the team and across Vehicle Propulsion is crucial, to enable the future implementation of the most desirable Electric Axle Drives. 
This role also includes agile way of working co-operation, within team and with backlog deliverables, related to each program increment (PI), to reach established and agreed team targets and solutions.

You and your skills
You have a University degree within Electrical Engineering or similar. 
You have a high ability and a strong will to continuously learn and develop your skillset in El Drive technology/development.
You are very comfortable to cooperate and communicate with people, both within the organization and with engineering partners/suppliers. 
You are great with oral, written and visual communication and presentation in English.
You are business oriented, flexible and performance driven with the courage to take decisions and be accountable.
You are a team player who likes to collaborate with your colleagues and contribute to a good team spirit and to team competence building.
Experience with Volvo Product Development System (VPDS) and tools such as KDP, VPC/QOP, EiDB, Teamcenter, Elektra, Car/System weaver, Scrum/Agile/Scaled Agile work practices is a merit
