About the position
We are looking for a Developer for our client, a major player in the automotive industry. You will be part of a unit responsible for global aftermarket operations, providing essential support to dealerships and customers worldwide. Within the department, they handle the distribution of spare parts, accessories, service and repair methods, as well as specialized tools. Their ambition is to be the preferred supplier of parts and services, actively contributing to delivering the best ownership experience for their customers. The position is located in Gothenburg.
Your daily tasks
As a developer in this role, you will define and present the required range of spare parts, ensuring optimal component breakdowns that consider technical specifications, functionality, quality, cost of ownership, and sustainability. You’ll monitor activities in new car projects, drive necessary changes, and collect and prepare data for further processing. This role also involves editorial tasks within the global VIDA system and contributing to the development of the future information products.

Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in relevant area
Technical interest and knowledge
Experience working with user experience
Excellent communication skills, both spoken and written English and Swedish
Meritorious
Background as a mechanic/technician in the automotive industry
Knowledge in product development, VIDA and Catia Composer or similar programs
Contract type and hours
Full-time consulting assignment until 2026-01-12. Start 2025-01-13.
