Our Exciting Opportunity:
We are looking for an experienced, creative and dynamic engineer to join our outstanding team. You will work in RPV domain in IV&C department within PDU Radio, and be responsible for verification specification documentation and test requirement handling, working with NGTE ((next-Gen test environment), securing test method and ensuring high product Radio Performance, covering below or part of below areas:
Driving RPV domain Verification specification technical writing and documentation responsible, sets standards for Radio HW performance verification
Initiate clean-up/restructuring the VS documents when needed
Module/node Radio performance verification
Legal RF testing (CE/FCC/Telec…)
Test method design
Test strategy development and evolvment
Test environment setup, debug and trouble shooting
Test result analysis
Guard technical content and document structure for Radio HW performance verification
Participate or drive technical analysis studies and pre-development in RPV domain
Work on Limit data, Requirement baseline, and pre-conditions in NGTE test system during project
Also as I&V, you may take responsibility to support trial and customer site if needed.
Responsibilities:
Ensure a high product Radio Performance is your main responsibility and Contribute to the overall success of the Radio Verification team goals
Participate in early phase activities and drive pre-dev activities in IVC
Design RPV test method and define test strategy for product family, keep evolving test strategy
Familiar with 3GPP (ETSI, 3GPP 51, 25, 36, 37, 38 series), Know the requirements (System, Standards, Internal and Regulatory) in the area
Define test scope to ensure reasonable verification coverage
Working in NGTE system to make sure all required information are in place before testing activities
Conduct RBS integration, verification and trouble shooting
Issue TR (trouble report) for issue tracing
Product quality analysis based on measurement results
Analyze test result and generate test report
Qualification & Requirement:
Bachelor or above, major in EE, CS, or similar
Passion and Genuine interest in 5G technology and verification work
>5 years working experience in RBS or communication design or I&V areas
Good understanding and experiences of cellular system, GSM/WCDMA/LTE/5G (especially Physical layer and Radio)
Good knowledge on radio test instruments (Agilent, R&S)
Knowledge preferred: Radio air interface protocol and performance verification, Electro-Magnetic Field & Microwave Technology
Energetic and positive as a person with a can-do mentality with high drive ability to get things done
High Execution ability, Perseverant, deliver on time and commitments and constantly work on efficiency improvements
Good Presentation skills, well-structured with structural thinking
Quality mindset, Integrity and accountability
A Good team player, cooperation well with others
Fluent in English speaking and writing
Additional Requirements:
Hands-on skills in RBS / RF verification is a big plus
Good knowledge about Radio performance qualification theory, methods and related HW/SW tools such as Labview, Java, python for automation, or Instruments such as SA, SG, NWA is a plus.
