What´s in it for you
We are looking for a developer with Design Engineer competence to join Art Exterior Front and Rear. On our Art we are responsible for the development of front and rear bumper system, grille, emblems and tailgate and spoiler. We are responsible for development of Moving Hood System, Hood Lock, Gas Damper and Signal Horn. We develop NVH absorbents, underbody panels and heatshields. We are also responsible for the development of sill mouldings, running boards, wheel arch extensions/liners and towbars.
You will be a member of an agile team with the ownership and responsible for development and maintenance of the product. The team contains of developers with competence as Design Engineers and Group Design Leaders. We put trust in the team and strive to build knowledge and experience to make an empowered team that drive development and take needed decisions within the team. The work is conducted in an international environment in close co-operation with, for example purchasing, manufacturing, and different attribute areas, our factories, as well as external suppliers.

What you´ll do
You will be part of an agile team with ownership of the product from cradle to grave. The team is responsible for that time, technology, and cost are held and will be kept within the agreed framework as well as securing quality assured deliveries. You will be responsible for creating engineering design solutions in Catia V5 and driving the development together with your team.
You’ll proactively take necessary actions to secure that the engineering design becomes successful. Product Design, surface appearance, attribute functions and manufacturing are some examples of important features, the engineering design need to fulfil.
You and your skills
We believe you have Master of Science alt. Bachelor of Engineering or equivalent competence through other education and /or professional experience. You have technical interest and knowledge, in addition:
* Knowledge of the product development process system VPDS and global technical development
* Documented experience in use of Catia V5.
* Knowledge in engineering design, manufacturing, mechanical joining and behavior of materials.
* Specific knowledge within our areas such as injection molded and painted plastic design, sheet metal design or other specific knowledge within our areas is considered as merit.
* Preferably driver´s license B
