The group you will be part of works within truck chassis installation, more specifically installing brake-related components and sensors for autonomous trucks. We are responsible for understanding and installing the components, concerning modularity. Starting from the first concept idea to a fully developed and verified product. We handle a large variety of truck chassis and different demands, making the job both exciting and complex.
The group consists of 11 mechanical engineers and 2 sub-project leaders, divided into two teams. Within our section, we have an agile way of working, why we also have roles as product owner and scrum master within our group. We have a good team spirit and are a tight unity where everybody supports each other to do their best, which contributes to team success.
Your assignment
Since we are taking on new challenges with future chassis, we now need to strengthen one of our teams with an experienced development engineer. You will together with your colleagues be responsible for creating new installations but also to improve existing ones. Balancing the demands and properties for each component. We also expect you to continuously contribute to improvements and development, both of our product as well as processes and cooperation.
Your duties as a design engineer will include:
• Conceptual studies of new installations and designs
• Create models and drawings of the design, and mature the status ready for serial production
• Understand, administrate, and update our product structure with ECOs
• Cooperate with R&D and our cross functions; Production, Market, Service, and Purchase to get a well-balanced product
• Self-leadership but also close cooperation within your team
Your profile

We also believe that…
• You have a bachelor’s or master’s degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent
• You have 3-5 years of experience working with product development
• You are a skilled CAD user
• You write and speak fluently in English
If you also write and speak fluently in Swedish and have previous experience or interest in software development or combinatorics, it is highly meriting.
